Default TextMod & gwx2 not loading up.

Hi,

Whenever I try to run the mentioned programmes to use GW, neither of them load up. Nothing happens, anyone have any idea to why this is?

Is your guild wars directory on another drive than the C:/ drive, I had the same problem since I keep my Guild Wars on my secondary disc (X) and after the second recent update, Guild Wars decided to Start from the C drive and thus wanting to redownload everything, It quickly Starts from the X the pops down and starts it self from the C drive version of the game (100mbs ,lol)

in the end I just moved it all to the C drive So texmod and the gw would want to download everything.

Any sense in what I just typed?*

VERATTA, TextMod doesn't even show, nothing appears, I briefly get the little sandtimer pop up by my cursor, then it goes and I get nothing.

PANTHOR, Yes, I only have one partition on my drive, and that's C, so it's still there.

Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming please

Texmod requires a totally unaltered version of GW to work properly. Because most of the multi-GW programs make tiny alterations in order to run more than one copy, the tpf files don't recognize it as GW and won't load. I've heard there's a workaround for this, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

If you're trying to run two copies of GW via GWx2 AND TexMod, forget it. It ain't gonna happen. TexMod runs gw.exe, it will not run gwx2.exe.

Does GWx2 run on its own?

Does TexMod run GW ok?

No, i'm not trying to run them both at once.

No, they don't, when I double click the either of the icons on my desktop, nothing appears, I get the sandtimer very briefly, but NOTHING else.
